Since Dawn hasn’t posted anything here, yet, I’m taking it upon myself to post this for her.
Dawn has always loved to write. She was fortunate to have been a student at San Jose State University Child Care for her pre-school and the same teachers moved to Horace Mann School near the University in downtown San Jose and Dawn attended Kindergarten there with them. They had an intensive creative writing program and Dawn loved it. Dawn always loved reading even before pre-school and even created stories before she could write. She continues to love creative writing.
In high school, she submitted a short story to the Palo Alto Weekly, a local newspaper. She won First prize for ages 14-17.
